Steve Wright

Steve studied applied engineering and electrical theory through the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) while serving with the Royal Australian Navy (1986–2000), where he later specialised in diving and demolitions. His service included operational deployments throughout Asia and United Nations peacekeeping efforts in Africa, supporting regional logistics and stability command (UNOSOM I & II).

On leaving the Navy in 2000, Steve relocated to London to take up engineering project management roles with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals (GSK) and Bank of America, amongst others. In 2003, Steve served as Director of Monica's Art and Dive (MAD), a charitable initiative at the London Aquarium that achieved a world first: a limbless person tandem scuba diving into a tank with eight sharks. The achievement was recognised in correspondence from Sir Robin Janvrin, Private Secretary to HM The Queen. Steve subsequently relocated to the South of France, continuing his seagoing career as Chief Engineering Officer in British Maritime. It was during this period that he began investigating complex water dynamics and microbiology; the start of a journey of invention and discovery.

Steve has since returned to London, where clinical laboratory research has confirmed the validity of his design theories. He is passionate about developing innovative engineering solutions, using principles found in nature, to solve man-made problems.
